The 2009 National WCTU Convention will be held the first week in August in Wichita, Kansas. The Convention will open on Wednesday, August 5th and close on Saturday, August 8th.

Reservations
We have negotiated a special rate of $79 per night (plus taxes, etc.), based on room rather than number of occupants. Reservations at this rate
are accepted for single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy, and include a deluxe continental breakfast. Please make reservations directly with the hotel: (316) 942-7911. The deadline for receiving this special WCTU Convention Rate is July 1st.

The hotel will also provide a luncheon buffet for WCTU delegates and family during the Convention at about $8. We urge as many attendess as possible take advantage of
this special deal

to ensure that it remains available throughout our stay. Remington's, the hotel restaurant/bar is open for evening meals. The menu includes a variety of light items (sandwiches, soups and salads)
which can be consumed in the adjacent Canterbury Room to avoid the tavern atmosphere.
In addition, there are many close-by restaurants, including most mid-range chains which offer family dining opportunities. However, be sure to
reserve Thursday night, August 6th for the Convention Banquet.
