Welcome to the WCTU Young People's Video Theater. This section of our site offers a collection of videos created by the
WCTU and others for children in Grades K-3, 4-6 and 7-9 as well as high school and young adults. We're starting small, but as we are able to offer more, we'll be indexing the
videos by subject and age group.
The list of current videos is in the right-hand column. To play your selection, click on the image or the link provided. Each link will open a new floating window which contains
Adobe Flash Player. Most computers sold over the past several years have Flash Player already installed. If you don't have
Adobe Flash Player, you can download a FREE copy here:
When you've finished playing the video you selected, close the floating window and you'll return to this page.
You can take advantage of a larger version of the video by selecting the full-screen option. Just click on the expand button on the player control bar:
Full-screen, however, may not be the best option for some of these videos as the resolution may be too low to render a good image. Many WCTU-produced videos were originally
on film strips and then produced in VHS tape format. The film strips or VHS tapes have been converted to DVD and those files compressed for use on the Web. If full-screen doesn't
work for you, just use your escape (ESC) button to return to the smaller version.
After being out-of-stock for some time, WCTU children's videos are again available. These videos feature Donna & David, Barbie & Butch
and Theobald wih their adventures, discovering how alcohol and tobacco can affect the lives of children and youth. These DVDs have been created from the film strips or VHS tapes
and technically enhanced to improve the audio and visual quality. Visual quality of the DVDs is somewhat better than the compressed versions you see here on the Web. Prices for individual DVDs have been REDUCED from $20 to $9.95 or less.
